Legal notice and privacy

The structure of BaalJobs, its design, texts, logo and code are the property of AZERTYUI. Any full or partial reproduction without prior written consent is prohibited. Logos and content published by companies and candidates remain the property of their authors, who warrant that they hold the rights.

BaalJobs is a matching platform. Job offers are published under the sole responsibility of the companies posting them, and profiles under that of the candidates. AZERTYUI moderates reported content and may remove any job or account that breaks the law, notably on hiring discrimination, or these terms.

The controller of the personal data collected on this site is AZERTYUI, 19 rue des Écoles, 26120 Malissard, France. Processing complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the French Data Protection Act.

Data collected

• Account: first name, last name, email address, password (stored hashed).
• Candidates: title, bio, city, phone, skills, experience level, LinkedIn link, photo and CV, cover letters.
• Companies: company details, published jobs, internal notes on applications, service requests.
• Contact form: name, email, message, and a non-reversible fingerprint of the IP address to prevent abuse.

Purposes and legal bases

• Providing the job search and recruitment service (performance of a contract).
• Sending applications to the companies chosen by the candidate (performance of a contract).
• Answering messages and preparing service quotes (pre-contractual measures).
• Keeping the site secure and preventing fraud (legitimate interest).

Recipients

• A candidate's profile and CV are only shared with the companies they apply to.
• BaalJobs staff, within the scope of their duties (support, moderation, qualification services).
• No data is sold or shared for advertising purposes.

Retention periods

• Accounts: while in use, then 3 years after the last login.
• Applications: 2 years after their last update, or until withdrawn by the candidate.
• Contact and support messages: 3 years.

Your rights

• Access, rectification and erasure of your data; most of it can be edited directly from your space.
• Restriction, objection and portability.
• Setting instructions about your data after your death.

The site only uses cookies and storage strictly necessary for it to work, which are exempt from consent:

• Session cookie, to keep you logged in during your visit and protect forms.
• "Keep me logged in" cookie (14 days), only if you tick that option.
• Light or dark theme preference, saved in your browser (local storage).

No advertising, analytics or social media cookie is set.

This notice is governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, and failing an amicable settlement, the French courts shall have sole jurisdiction.
